Learn to Play - Guitar and Piano
Beginning music students are often challenged by not knowing how the music they are attempting to play should sound. SD-X technology directly addresses this problem by playing notes, chords, chord progressions, and compositions when the student touches these music books with an SD-X reader. Students and teachers value the immediacy of the SD-X reader’s response for music education, as well as language learning, math drills, and reading practice.
Each of these boxed sets has an SD-X 100 series reader and two spiral-bound books. One book teaches playing basics and the other is a chord encyclopedia. Both sets have an SD-X enabled metronome and the guitar set has a built-in tuner.
Learn to Play Guitar features the most frequently used chords in a variety of genres, organized by pitch from C to B. Each chord has three alternative voicings and a fretboard diagram that allows you to hear notes for every string. There is even a programming option that allows you to choose a series of chords and play them back as a progression.
Learn to Play Piano introduces piano keys and music notation. Keyboard diagrams allow you to see and hear each note. The book introduces frequently used scale step patterns and chords, organized by pitch from C to B. There is looping audio and accompaniment tracks for practicing common composition forms from Baroque to the Blues.
